Ford & PSA Wet Belt Replacement

Wet timing belts are fitted to a range of Ford and PSA Group engines, including selected Ford EcoBoost and Peugeot, Citroën and Vauxhall PureTech models. Unlike a traditional timing belt, a wet belt runs inside the engine and is continuously exposed to engine oil.

Over time, the belt can begin to deteriorate. Small pieces of belt material may enter the oil system, restrict oil flow and potentially cause serious engine damage if the problem is not identified early.
